Topic: One Day Workshop - Performance Architecture: The Worker, Work, Workplace and the World

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

End Time: 4:30 p.m.

Workshop Overview:

This one-day workshop introduces a systemic approach to ensure the integration of the worker, work, workplace and the world. What makes one performance improvement solution produce promised results, while another falls short or fails utterly? Often, we discover the driver of a performance issue but not its point of origin, and treat a symptom rather than the cause. Roger will explore the four organizational levels – Worker, Work, Workplace and the World – and learn to pinpoint the source of a performance issue. Try out helpful tools for each level, and create well-targeted solutions that deliver results.  In additions, we will take a few side trips as we explore the Performance Architect’s Landscape: what we do, how we think and where were we work.

Workshop Learning Objectives:

After completing this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • State the 4 levels and explain why they are necessary to sustain improved performance
  • Analyze performance and identify obstacles at each of the 4 levels
  • Differentiate between processes and practices
  • Use tools provided to improve performance in your organization
