Darlene Van Tiem in the HPT Legacy Video Podcast Series from the ISPI 2012 Conference - the 50th Anniversary Conference.

Description:

How do performance improvement–oriented organizations ensure that their approach is a sure bet and not a gamble?  This evening session will show us that the human performance technology (HPT) model is comprehensive and process oriented.

This skill development session is designed to enhance performance practitioners’ ability to systematically and systemically apply HPT principles to resolve a case study situation. Discussion of the model and the case will enable participants to realize the extraordinary value of performance technology. After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify major phases of the HPT model.
  • Value the innovations in the new model.
  • Discuss a case study that applies the phases of the model.
  • Determine the importance of each phase of the performance technology process.
